At Rotary yesterday, Jeff Conroy, ED for St Vincent, was our presenter. He spoke to the group about the warming shelter and paid very high compliments to the Post Falls PD and how they help to provide a “community” feeling by communicating with the shelter and even bringing pizza to the shelter on occasion.
As always, it is wonderful to hear about how your department operates in a manner to bring a sense of community to the city. When I am attending city functions across the US, I hear many times how some police departments are simply viewed as “militant” or “enforcement”. I am extremely proud that your department enforces the law in a kind and compassionate way.
